I'm Honor and I'm a model with a passion for simple seasonal foods, local producers and learning how what I eat affects my health and wellbeing.

I started nearHome because of my passion for local food. Through working as a model I have had opportunities to travel and experience different cultures and countries from more of a locals point of view rather than a tourists. Whether thats in France and Italy or further afield in Japan and South Korea I'm always on the look out for local independents. I love learning about traditional dishes and native varieties of produce. Finding these spots is always luck. The UK alone has such a huge variety of independent producers tucked downs side streets and country lanes. This is where the idea of a website uniting quality independent/family-owned producers in one place, building a bridge between the producer and the consumer and eliminating the 'luck' came about. And thus, nearHome.

Trying out new recipes, exploring new places and taking photos of them has always been something I've enjoyed and nearHome has given me the opportunity to do just that.
