Greensand Ridge Distillery is a carbon-neutral micro-distillery with an aim to make a positive influence on the community. The name Greensand Ridge is the rolling hills around the Weald which is also where they source their flavours.
They are trying to be more sustainable by reducing food waste at the farm gate. They use quality produce that supermarkets won’t take for fermenting and distilling. They estimate that 75% of food waste happens at the farm gate which is a huge waste for the farmers.
Their range of products include Gins, Rums, Fruit Brandies, and a set of spirits.
