Magdalen Cheese & Provisions was started by Rachel and Jacob in October 2021 who have more than 20 years of experience being cheesemongers, they have a passion for traditional farmhouse cheeses and their aim is to source and sell the best traditionally made cheeses and accompaniments.
They choose the cheese they sell on a weekly basis so when it gets to the shop everything is at its peak. As well as their range of quality cheeses Magdalen Cheese also sells a range of accompaniments such as rare UK grain crackers and traditionally made pickles and ferments.
Jacob built his extensive knowledge of cheesemaking at Neal’s Yard Dairy where he worked for 8 years. He not only learnt about cheese maturation but also got to know some of Britian’s finest cheesemakers. Rachel work more in the retail side where she ran cheese shops and counters across London and Devon.
