Rye Bakery
The Rye Bakery first opened in 2017 as part of Rise, based in a renovated and independently run church.
The Rye Bakery has since grown. Along with their cafe where they serve and sell their freshly baked bread and buns as well as hot food and drinks they also have a location at Station Approach. This is where the main bakery, they also serve coffees here.
They are passionate about how they run, and they believe that transparency, quality, and sustainability can help shorten the gap between the producer and the end product. They try to use as many locally sourced grains as possible. The flour they buy is organic, and they source local and ancient types of grains. All products they make are made by hand.
All their products for the cafe and bakery are produced at the Bakery at Station Approach in Frome. From Wednesday to Saturday they serve pizzas at the bakery from 12:00-21:00.
The Cafe is open from Tuesday to Sunday, from 9:00 to 4:00 and is located at: Rye Bakery, Whittox Lane, Frome, Somerset, BA11 3BY.
