Woodchester Valley

Woodchester Valley is a family-owned vineyard and winery which was started by Fiona Shiner in 2007. They currently have three vineyard sites, Woodchester, Stonehouse and Amberley that make up their 56 acres.

They started off at their Amberly site where the first acre was planted in 2007. Over the next few years, they planted more and more land whilst expanding to their Woodchester and Stonehouse sites until 2016 when they opened their winery. This meant all their wine could be produced on-site. In 2017 their Cellar Door and Tasting Room opened.

They are able to grow a variety of different grapes thanks to their different sites. This is because the soil differs between sites and different grapes like different types of soils. Their range of grapes includes Pinot Noir, Chardonnay (at the Woodchester and Amberley sites) and Bacchus (at the Stonehouse site).
