Kimbers Farm Shop

The Kimber family has been farming at Charlton Musgrove for 350 years and the current owners Paul and Ruth Kimber since 1973. They are a true family-run business with their children all working on the farm, helping out at the farm shop and at the farmers markets.

They are traditional and responsible farmers, with animal welfare being their top priority. The farm is a mixed stock farm, their animals are fed wholesome animal feed during the winter months comprising of homegrown wheat, maize/grass silage and meadow hay whilst in the summer month they graze out in the fields. They also only use fertilizers and herbicides according to need.

The farm shop sells a wide variety of meat, from beef, lamb and pork of different cuts to chicken, game, duck and goat. They also sell handmade burgers and sausages. Their dairy range includes milk from Bruton Dairy, Organic Bruton Brie by White Lake Cheese and butter from Maryland Farmhouse Dairy. The farm shop also sells seasonal fresh vegetables, herbs and spices, ciders, wines and preserves.

Kimbers Farm Shop attends two farmers’ markets:

Shaftesbury Market at the Townhall, first Saturday of the month: 9:00 – 13:00

Bath Farmers’ Market at Green Park Station, every Saturday: 9:00 – 13:30
