Danefold Farms

Danefold Farms is a family-run Pasture for Life certified beef farm situated in the Low Weald of Sussex. They breed and rear pedigree Aberdeen Angus, Beef Shorthorn and White Park cattle which are all slow-matured and traditional native breeds.

Danefold Farms are passionate about following sustainable methods of beef farming where they respect both the animals and their environment. Being Pasture for Life certified mean they are part of a movement of British Farmers who are committed to producing animal products (whether that’s grass fed meat, milk or dairy) in the most ethical and natural way possible.

Danefold Farms Beef

Danefold Farms’ 100% grass fed pedigree beef comes directly from their farm in West Sussex. The meat is aged on the bone for a minimum of three weeks resulting in a rich flavoursome and tender and succulent end product. Once aged it is then carefully prepared and packaged by their local artisan butcher.

To purchase from Danefold visit their annual country market featuring over 60 stalls including local produce, a live bands, arts and crafts and a dog show. Alternatively they can be often found at Steyning and Shoreham Farmers Markets as well as Pimlico Road Farmers Market in London.
